Luxor Temple by Night

The Temple of Luxor was the center of the most important festival, the festival of Opet. Built largely by Amenhotep III and Rameses II, the temple's purpose was a setting for the rituals of the festival. Day 2:

Valley of the Kings

The eternal final resting place of Egypt's rulers from 1539 to 1075 BC to more than 60 tombs for the 18th to the 20th dynasty which is home to tombs including the great pharaoh Ramses II and boy Tutankhamen. Day 4:

Aswan High Dam

Built across the Nile at Aswan. The High Dam was constructed between 1960 and 1970 and has had a significant positive effect on the entire economy and culture of Egypt.

Philae Temple

Philae temple dedicated to goddess Isis of Motherhood,Love, and beauty. The temple complex was dismantled and relocated to nearby Agilkia Island as part of the UNESCO Nubia Campaign project, protecting this and other complexes before the 1970 completion of the Aswan High Dam.
